SGC at the German Surgery Congress

At the annual German Surgery Congress, DCK 2025, Professors Raffaele Rosso and Markus Furrer had the opportunity and honor to present the Senior Surgeon Assessment by SGC-SSC in a session attended by a large and engaged audience. The rich and intense discussion that followed the presentations highlighted how relevant the topic is today. However, it also became clear that much work remains to be done to make such an assessment an accepted, natural, and routine measure. This is crucial to ensure high-quality standards for our patients and to support the well-being of surgeons
